hello, trying to upgrade doesn't work anymore on my system, its state is not very good, i lost X.... and the package list is a mess.... i admit that with all the tries to restaurate the system it went deeper and deeper in a worse fashion...
e.g. trying to install the latest apt: dpkg -i apt_0.3.14_i386.deb Selecting previously deselected package apt. (Reading database ... dpkg: serious warning: files list file for package `apt-find' missing, assuming package has no files currently installed. 77650 files and directories currently installed.)
