Hi, I apt-get'd "file" recently, and I didn't notice any seg. faults or bus errors.
Does apt-get have a remote "punishment" system for anyone who tinkering with default paths? (ie: If it finds symlinks that are not supposed to be there, then apt-get produces those horrible error messages. Why couldn't apt-get just be more frank and open...? So that nobody would get shaken.) Oki ps: all directories have been put back as they were.
