Hi all, as a Newbie to debian slink I have no idea how to make a Soundblaster Pro compatible soundcard work.
I didn´t want to recompile the kernel, so I tried to install the modules soundcore and sound (sound module with the parameters: io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 dma16=3 mpu_io=0x330) with modconf. I get a message 'wrong parameter: io='. I searched the web for doc/help on this topic, but I haven´t found anything usefull. Could anyone help me ? What else have I to do to make the soundcard work ?
