I've got both of the files above, but don't know which is the best one to use in order to update the kernel (2.0.36) on my Slink + Potato system.
I saw the buzzword "system.map" in the docs for the kernel-image, but I know I won't be able to customize a kernel unless I've got the sources: the tar.gz file. Is the kernel-image just a generic kernel to get you running? And is the potential error with the system.map easily fixable if I were to use the tar.gz file? (Just look for where the symlink points to the new system.map, right?) Thanks. -- David J.
