I sometimes run into the problem of an X-Window freeze (keyboard stops working as does the touchpad on my laptop). This is very annoying because I have to reboot my system by using the reset button, which in turn is a dangerous way of restarting linux. Is there a solution to prevent or avoid such a freeze ?
