Hello,

As it turns out, the person was running "potato" that had the
2.2.1 kernel running with suspend/resume working on the Thinkpad 560.

As I can't connect to the network under linux (yet) is there a
minimal amount of potato packages that I can put over the slink
stuff I have? Or would the number of packages be quite large?

For the most part I am running with stuff from the slink CD.

I do not mind spending a day or so downloading, but any more and
I'll probably stay with slink for now. Also I downgraded my BIOS
recently, and welcome any info as to what is best for potato.

Experiences/Info/Advise very welcome,

John
