Hello, I compiled 2.4.18 (from the debian disks), and installed it. Unfortunately, when I use the new kernel, I do not get an ipaddress from my cable modem (dhclient eth0), but if I use the old kernel (2.2.20), I am able to get an IP address ?
Any idea whats up ?
