Sequence: 1. Used dselect to select all web packages in order to remove them. 2. During the remove process received errors that the remove process was unable to complete for some packages because there were files in /etc/php3, /etc/htdig, and /usr/lib/apache. 3. Dutifully removed said files/directories. 4. Package list indicated apache, apache-common, and squid still installed 5. dpkg -r squid returns following error:
