If the fax pages appear "stretched" then the conflict is most likely due to a confusion between 'normal' and 'fine' resolution of the fax you're sending. That is, perhaps the fax is formatted at 'normal' resolution (204 x 98 dpi) but the fax software thinks it's been formatted at 'fine' resolution (204 x 196 dpi), and tells the fax receiver so. You see, the resolution of the document is a negotiated parameter in the fax transmission.
