I haven't used sgmltools in a while but today i needed it and when I did
sgmltools -b ps file.sgml i got this:
15:11:33$ sgmltools -b ps backups.sgml
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1)
I can't find the format file `jadetex.fmt'!

I'm using debian slink (with some potato packages) and jadetex version
2.2-1.
