I have just installed a SIIG dual parallel port card in my Linux box. When linux sees the card, it seems to recognized and initialize it as a serial port as it assigns it ttyS1 and ttyS2. The serial port of my modem is ttyS0. Any thoughts on how to set these to lpt or is that necessary? I have a scanner hooked up to this card that I am trying to get working via Linux.
