 That's because it's not really a 64-voice soundcard. It's basically an
AWE-32 with some hooks for special software. It does 32 voices in
hardware, and 32 voices in software. (In Windows, that is.)

 In Linux, it basically acts like an AWE 32. You shouldn't have a problem.
