Technically, in your .xdefaults file. Take a look at editres, it will give you the complete ressource tree for athena based apps and can change ressources on-the-fly. Very useful to find the most convenient settings (you have to put them manually in .xdefaults, though). But if xfsft messed it up, rearranging the paths in xfsft's config file will do the trick.
