Hello all, I've a potentially elementary situation to present. I have an internal Zoom56k dualmode modem on ttyS2. I have, with the assistance of a linux friend of mine irl, got my internet connection working before, so I know it isn't the hardware but I'll just throw that in anyways. I've got debian 2.1 installed on a new hard drive, and I simply can't get my net connection going again. I even copied all of the scripts and config files from the old hd, and still, no connection. I can get it to dial and sorta connect, but even with that, the initialization process seems to take forever, whereas my previous setup was very quick. Sorry, I'll quit my rambling and give you something to work with--I resorted to 'pon' and, well below you see a section of my ppp.log, on of the connection attempts. Could someone please give me a hint as to what's going on? :)
