Julian, I just installed a Diamond Supra Express in a slink box this evening.
The first thing I did was disable PNP and set the com port and irq via the jumpers (see Appendix A of the Supra Express "Getting Started Manual"). I was lucky that I knew the com port and irq settings of the old modem; com2 (/dev/ttyS1) and irq3. Then it was out with the old and in with the new. Pon worked the same as ever.
