Relaying is now turned off by default in sendmail 8.9.3 (the version in slink).
I added the following to /etc/mail/sendmail.mc: FEATURE(access_db, hash -o /etc/mail/access)dnl I then ran sendmailconfig to create sendmail.cf In /etc/mail/access, I have: host.domain RELAY where host.domain is the FQDN of the host I want to relay for. After doing this it works for me.
