I started getting this from several binaries (mysqld, for one) immediately
after upgrading to the latest packages in 'unstable' (it had been about a
month since my last update).

Anybody know:
 1) what's causing this.
 2) what I can do in the short-term to fix it
 3) when it will be fixed in the packages in the ftp servers
 4) how we can prevent this from happening again
