This is a known issue, and from what I've heard, the problem lies in gtk, not Mozilla. The widgets are being constantly redrawn, even when they don't need to. If you really want to run it, you could try fiddling with different versions of gtk (I don't know if that will help), but otherwise just sit tight. They're working on it.
