missing ldd

When I run 

        debian/rules binary

in the gnurobots source dir, it exits with:

dpkg-shlibdeps: failure: cannot exec ldd: No such file or directory
dpkg-shlibdeps: failure: ldd on `debian/tmp/usr/games/grobots' gave error exit 
status 2
dh_shlibdeps: command returned error code
make: *** [binary-arch] Error 1

As ldd seems not to be installed, which package provides it?
