I am having problems booting into debian with the
rescue floppy (1.44m). I have tried both the standard
rescue image and the tecra image, niether worked.
with both images i would boot without entering
anything at the boot prompt (i dont need to enter
anything, as far as I can tell). It would hang while
loading root.bin. The floppy led would stay on, but
nothing would happen. does anyone have any ideas? if
this helps, here is the computer info:
  Dell Dimension 466/DMT (486dx2/66)
  32m ram
  2 seagate hdd (models st3144a, st1144a)-->both 124
mb
  ne2000 compatible nic
any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
