When installing emacs/xemacs v.19 and 20 (wanted to try both versions)
dselect installation of emacs20 modules exited repeatedly with the
message that something had not been configured yet, but when trying to
configure it, the problem remained. Finally, I wanted to remove all of
the emacs/xemacs20 stuff and keep the v.19, as that was installed
correctly. Now, some of the v.20 things remained although I removed it
with dselect and then tried with dpkg --purge emacs20 and so on: purge
--list 'emacs2*' gives something like:
pn  emacs20  <none> ...
Additionally, I got the following message during dpkg execution for
emacs20 removal:
(Reading database...
in the file "/usr/lib/menu/xemacs19" at line 4:
        section=Apps/Editors title="XEmacs19-tty" command="/usr/bin/xemacs19"
Unexpected end of line
I don't understand this message, because there exists a link
xemacs-19.16->xemacs19. Is it a bug?
