Hi, Nowadays, it is very common to have a disk ranging from 6.4GB to 10.1GB.
It is also common lots people will install both windoze and linux on the same disk. I am just about to install debian on three computers for my friends. They all have a large disk with the first partition being occupied by windoze. Due to the fact that lilo cannot see anything beyond 1024 cylinders, what is the best way to deal with this fact? I have tried with the command something like append="hd=8400,16,63" in /etc/lilo.conf, but has not luck. Could someone please tell me how I can overcome this problem???
