Could you post your lilo.conf and your tables of partition ?
Make sure that you've compiled a kernel supporting your scsi card (a 
module won't suffice)

Something as boot=/dev/hda (or /dev/hda1 if you want to keep your MBR 
untouched) in /etc/lilo.conf should suffice...
