I don't know about that driver, I don;t use it, so I can't comment on it being ready or not, but I'd suggest you use the ALSA sound modules which are really good, and already in the Debian distribution. But the message you mentioned is a harmless warning only meaning that your package X MAY be incompatible with the latest kernels one day, should the mentioned interface vanish.
