Hi.
I'm having trouble with gpm filling my syslog with annoying
messages like:
Mar 21 17:59:24 e316 gpm[3255]: Error in protocol
Mar 21 17:59:53 e316 last message repeated 558 times
Mar 21 17:59:54 e316 gpm[3260]: Error in protocol
Mar 21 17:59:54 e316 last message repeated 17 times
Mar 21 18:00:01 e316 gpm[3260]: Error in protocol
Mar 21 18:00:06 e316 last message repeated 108 times
Mar 21 18:00:42 e316 gpm[3303]: Skipping a data packet (?)
Mar 21 18:00:42 e316 gpm[3303]: Error in protocol
Mar 21 18:00:45 e316 last message repeated 115 times
It works fine using it, though.
It's a Microsoft intellimouse on a PC, Com1 and
i run -current.
I set device=/dev/ttyS0 and I've tried both type=ms
and type=pnp.
Neither gives syslog no peace. :P
If anyone could help me out here, I'd be grateful.
