I'm trying to load Debian 2.1 on an old Epson laptop, but I can't seem to get it to partition and format the drive during the install. I've tried low-level formatting, and creating the partitions and then loading, but all to no avail. The Debian documentation isn't any help.
Since the laptop has no CD-ROM, I'm loading from floppies. Anyone have any
pearls of wisdom and/or experience to get me through this?
