If I get something to work I will send you a patch, and if it works well with the rest of the package, you can include it in future wdm packages. Does wdm specify the session using the usual method of passing a parameter to Xsession? If so, would it be possible to read from (or write the new session name to) the ~/.wdm_style *before* calling Xsession, so it could then pass either the new session or the last session used to the script, and have things start up right? That's essentially what you mentioned in your email, I guess, but I'm wondering if wdm itself could do it, instead of using a separate script that runs before Xsession... noah PGP public key available at http://lynx.dac.neu.edu/home/httpd/n/nmeyerha/mail.html or by 'finger -l [EMAIL PROTECTED]' This message was composed in a 100% Microsoft free environment. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBNuayOodCcpBjGWoFAQGptwP/dosRku9737yx9K2By2vlPlSqelwa/qT6 ZVch1NNE3JnZVIJZScFXZhrbXY4C8xhJZpA8SGeLzwGdd6MMudPMAkVJLF9gf4EZ /tRcZ8Hmjw7b6f1W7HctqcNC9c2hm8Zx2ABGNld2cHVmZNpS/BNk8k7KXSG1rZwi bbwNEq2c1hI= =J1jg -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
