I have just added a second linux machine on my network, and was wondering about how to back it up.
I have a working backup script that back up my main linux box every Sunday morning. However, I have no idea how to implement a remote backup. Could someone point me towards some documenation about how to do it. Here is what I'm currently using to backup my main machine: mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind > bkup.log 2>>bkup.log mt -f /dev/nst0 erase >> bkup.log 2>>bkup.log mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind >> bkup.log 2>>bkup.log /sbin/dump 0uBf 2500000 /dev/nst0 / >> bkup.log 2>>bkup.log /sbin/dump 0uBf 2500000 /dev/nst0 /var >> bkup.log 2>>bkup.log /sbin/dump 0uBf 2500000 /dev/nst0 /usr >> bkup.log 2>>bkup.log mt -f /dev/nst0 rewoffl TIA, chris
