Update: Ok, I've installed the kernel in /usr/src/ untarred them then do: make oldconfig && make dep && make-kpkg modules I then went back to my nvidia drivers and got another error, at least it's different this time: --------------------------------- depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o make: *** [package-install] Error 1 ---------------------------------
