I am having trouble reading data from my audio cds. I get a .wav file that is the appropriate length but silent.
The error I get is ... samplefile size will be 98967500 bytes. recording 561.04000 seconds stereo with 16 bits @ 44100 Hz ->'audio.wav'... Sorry, this driver and/or drive does not support cdda reading. cooked: Read cdda : Input/output error I have tried two different ide cdroms. One a creative and the other an IBM. Both manufactured in about 1995. Is it lightly that the cdroms cannot read cdda? How can I tell if a cdrom drive supports cdda reading?
