Hi, I just decided to try out the autofs package, so I installed it and recompiled my 2.2.1 kernel. I set up the map file per the examples and rebooted. Everything seems to work great. I accessed one of the file systems in the map file, and had no problems with it. I happened to do a 'ls -l /mount' and noticed that the directory it created for the filesystem showed a date of December 31, 1969??? I assume this is normal, since everything works, but why doesn't it show the correct creation date?
