Kernel 2.2.1 and Samba

Hi, 

I am running Debian-slink and I've downloaded the new kernel from potato,
everything works find except that I can't mount any samba shares. I used
to call

smbmount //bodiam/courses /mnt/bodiam/courses 
  -U ahus1 -f 700 -d 700 -u 1003

but that doesn't seem to work any more.

What can I do?
