Probably the best ray-tracing software is pov-ray. Home page: http://www.povray.org Debian Packages: ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/non-free/binary-i386/graphics/povray_3.0.20-6.deb (Potato, Slink & Hamm versions are all the same.) You probably will also want povray-doc, povray-misc, etc. Version 3.1 of pov-ray is out, but not for Linux yet... Kirk
