I was wondering whether anyone might have burned some Slink CD's that they could bring to the get-together. I'd happily pay for the cost of the CD's. I'd like to try testing Slink, but over a not-too-fast modem, downloading a whole setup is do-able, but a bit ungainly.
I'm something of a newbie, but at this late stage in Slink's development Slink should work ok for relative newbies, I would think. And, in fact, a fairly late beta test of the installation CD's might not be such a bad idea since if newbies can easily break it, there's something of a problem. I'm assuming that this get-together is not for developers only, as an announcement was posted on debian-user as well as debian devel. If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll stay home.
