Is anyone aware of problems with usb and 2.4.20? And what should I do with Oops messages?
I upgraded to 2.4.20. I used kernel source with XFS support from SGI via cvs. I was upgrading from 2.4.18 to fix the problem of kernel modules having the wrong "used" count (visor modules not unloading). It fixed that problem. Now after a few hotsync attempts which loads visor and usbserial I get an oops and the machine becomes unstable, Oops'ing quite often until the machine hangs. It's happend quit a few times since the upgrade.
