-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I upgraded my workstation from woody to testing about a month back and all went well with just one exception - mysql-server refuses to install. The following error appears:
Setting up mysql-server (3.23.52-2) ... Stopping MySQL database server: mysqld. dpkg: error processing mysql-server (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: mysql-server E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I've tried removing it and reinstalling but end with the same error. I'd appreciate any help in understanding why this is so and how I could resolve it.
