If I recall correctly, the upgrade from 1.3.1 to 2.0 removes the -dev packages for a number of libraries (for compatibility reasons during the upgrade process). So you probably just need to reinstall the appropriate ones.
Can you post the actual text of the error-messages you're seeing?
