But then I suppose you can't have the latex commands, for instance you can't write $\alpha$ in xfig and get an alpha, or can you? hmm... if i'd need greek letters, just set font to special (greek) and start typing: a -> \alpha b -> \beta etc Also you can put latex text into the picture frame, but that's a bit sexy...
