Hallo again everyone,
After spending seven hours downloading StarOffice before Christmas, I
find it
on the cover of this months PCPlus. Typical!
Anyway, whenever I start StarOffice 90% of the time it starts with the
windows titlebar
above the top of my screen and slightly to the left. Basically the word 'File'
is visible in the
top left of the screen.
I tried setting an alias in my .bashrc such as
alias so='soffice -geometry +0+0'
and later I tried
alias so='soffice -geometry 1152x864+0+0'
(my screen is 1152x864) to try and start the window correctly positioned in the
top left corner
but nothing works. However I start StarOffice it will NOT centre on the screen
correctly.
Any suggestions before I mention this to the people at StarOffice? I have no
idea what could
be causing this.
