Since it is basically working, I thought you just want to stop that message from appearing. For a qualified statement of what is causing the error, ask at lkml or a kernel related mailing list. I don't think debian-user is the right mailing list for kernel related errors. A quick search in google gave me this: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.zaurus.devel/133 maybe that can help you? He was able to resolve a similar issue by updating the Zaurus ROM.
