I read the docu on APM. Seems like it is useful for laptop and may not be for desktop? Suppose I can turn the system into standby mode, how can I turn the hard drive spin down?
The question boils down to: how can save maximum energy when the computer is idling? I mainly use the computer after work for surfing net and do a little programming. Thanks. Jinsong
