In my eyes your printcap looked weird. I don't have my own machine at hand here and don't remember the printcap, but: I managed to put printing in order using Lyx-documentation. There is included with Lyx a file called 'customization', which is telling the whole story how to write the spooling system, the ps-filter and the printcap-file. I don't have Netscape, but at least my printing-system (using an old 2$ matrix-printer and ghostscript) works with Amaya, Gzilla and any ps-files now. hvirtanecc.jyu.fi
