I would like to switch between two keyboard mappings - us and german - whenever I need to. I've written two input files for xmodmap, accordingly. These are correct. I typed
xmodmap <file> but nothing happend. I can remember that this worked some installations before. What could be the fault? Are there any other methods of keyboard layout switching under X? Armin
