I'm running Pine 4.05 currently. I've always used Lynx but have changed to opening netscape now. The only problem is that it opens a "NEW" process. It _IS_ posible, from what the pine help says, to have pine open the link in the currently running netscape process. This uses the -remote arg somehow. Sorry but i no longer run 4.00 so i can not look but in 4.05 go into the Menu--Setup--Config and at the very bottom i use the following to open a new netscape process: url-viewers= _TEST("test -n '${DISPLAY}'")_/usr/local/netscape4.5/netscape Look at the help for the url-viewers (press ?) and it'll give you more info. If anyone can figure out how to get this to *NOT* open a new process but display the link on the current process please let us know. thanx Robert PS. 4.00 i believe could do this aswell but i think i always used the lynx program. Also (off topic a bit but related), i also use the following if i simply want to view an image someone emailed to me without having to save to disk. Both of these options are close to the very bottom of the config. image-viewer = /usr/bin/X11/xv -- ######################################################################### Robert V.
