Currently I use (in Win95) the 710VX monitor type (the 1024x768 version), but only run under 800x600. I have specs for the 710VX, but assume they would be too high for my model, is that correct? If I decide to just try the VESA modes, is there some indication that my monitor is about to fry before it actually does? I've heard this process can take as little as a few seconds to burn your monitor up. Will it be obvious that something is terribly wrong? (Boy - maybe I should just go by a new monitor, huh? Maybe after Xmas). -Jay
