Did you get the *.tar.gz (or *.tgz) file from Netscape? Debian does
not have a package, as such, for Netscape. The *.deb file you got is
probally the "installer" package. You need to get the actual Netscape
binary tarball from Netscape (ftp.netscape.com), put it in your /tmp/
directory, and you should be set.
