I'd like to thank everyone who came to the BALUG meeting last night - it was great to meet all of you!
For those who didn't get to come, Corel didn't show up, and some debian people got scattered around the room and didn't get to sit at the main debian table and I didn't get to meet them until later in the evening, but the food was good and we had some good discussions and wowed the user group with the large number of debian people who appeared out of the blue. The next BALUG meeting will be on December 15th, and I'll certianly be there, and I hope some of you will too! I'm also hoping to go to the next SVLUG meeting on December 2nd and meet Richard Stallman. To keep from bothering the main debian lists with this anymore, I've set up a mailing list for Bay Area Debian - to subscribe, mail an empty message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. The purpose of this list is anything related to Debian and the Bay Area - meeting other debian users and developers, organizing a Debian booth at the LinuxWorld conference next spring, and anything else of interest. -- see shy jo
