Why don't you install the x3270 Debian package. This will save you all the trouble of compiling it. Package: x3270 Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: non-free/x11 Installed-Size: 556 Maintainer: Dirk Eddelbuettel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Version: 3.1.1.7-3 Depends: libc6, xlib6g (>= 3.3-5) Conffiles: /etc/ibm_hosts a61e549a74db3934aa0700625f30daa3 Description: X11 program for telnet sessions to IBM mainframes x3270 opens a telnet connection to an IBM mainframe host in an X11 window. The window created by x3270 can use its own font for displaying characters, so it is a fairly accurate representation of an IBM 3278 or 3279. > Are there any utilities that can receive Netware broadcast messages? :-) > Is there any way to cut and paste between windows? For cut and paste under X you just select with the left mouse button and paste with the middle(or left and right for 2 button mice). > > r > > > > * > * "This job's too hard for us" -Andy and Randy Pig > * -- Brian --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Never criticize anybody until you have walked a mile in their shoes, because by that time you will be a mile away and have their shoes." - unknown Mechanical Engineering [EMAIL PROTECTED] Purdue University http://www.ecn.purdue.edu/~servis ---------------------------------------------------------------------
