I grabbed all of the cmucl packages, and the Lisp is working okay but I can't invoke the hemlock editor no matter how many times I do (ed) or run cmuclconfig to set up the loading. After running a generic Debian installation of the packages, what am I supposed to do to get hemlock or any of the X stuff working?
Also, is this "hemlock" really the best way, or is XEmacs better? Christopher
