I installed 2.1.125 and ppp did not seem to work (I had problems with earlier 2.1.x kernels, as well). The docs say ppp 2.3.5 is required, but I already have this and it works fine with 2.0.35.
I get the message about ppp support not being in the kernel or the module isn't loaded. I have compiled it into the kernel. Is there anything different which I need to take into account?
